Bob Yount

Robert Blue Yount, a Los Angeles native, has enjoyed success as a pianist, actor, director and author. The Yount genetic pool is no stranger to musical success; his father wrote the standard popular song "Please Release Me" and was a well known studio guitarist. Bob's stage credits include the national touring company of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" and "The Music Man". Television credits include "Quincy" and "Barnaby Jones" as well as numerous national commercials. He has also toured with Liberace, which he says explains his "continuing allergy to sequins". Much of the advice and encouragement that helped launch Landsberg & Yount to prominence came from Bob's lifetime musical idol who was later to become a friend and mentor, pianist / conductor Peter Nero.
